AMA dispensing paper is made by uniformly coating a special modified epoxy resin in a grid pattern onto a substrate. The substrate, AMA, is a composite of polyester film and two layers of high-quality cable paper. It is mainly used in oil-immersed transformers as a replacement for diamond-shaped dispensing paper.
